Arcachon & Cap Ferret

This year I took the time to visit my own country. I went to Arcachon and Cap Ferret during May (we have a lot of public holidays during this period of the year!).

I always have to make a kind of room tour... sorry ^_^'. So this is our bedroom at the hotel "Le B d'Arcachon".

You can't go wrong with the local food!

Fish soupe, mussels and fondant au chocolat! YUMMY!!!

We rent bikes to reach the "Dune du Pilat".

It was tough! Boyfriend demanded breaks because he was exhasuted haha!!!

But it worth it!!! Look at this gorgeous landscape!

But the best part for me : Cap Ferret! I found my favorite beach!

Ready??

You can not come here without trying their oysters.

London

I can't believe it has been 2 years since my last post... To be honest after I left university I was not able to find my place in the society... maybe this is the reason why I stopped updating my blog.

In the beginning of the year I was unemployed, I was sick of waiting for answers so I decided to fly to London for the first time. I needed a real break from my routine.

Truth is, I felt in love with this city. I had a big crush on Big Ben, I can't really explain why but I was obsessed with its architecture!

We were super lucky, no rain during our entire stay but the wind was icy! But I really wanted to visit this city as much as possible so we managed to face the cold weather!

On the first day, we took the famous "Big Bus Tour"... but for some reason, we got lost trying to find a bus stop x__x.

Of course we had to try "Fish and chips"!

On the second day we visited Mme Tussaud Museum. So much better than the Grévin Museum in Paris!

Yeah guilty! I'm a big fan of Britney Spears, so I had to take my picture. I felt kinda embarrassed to take pictures with statues in front of so many people!

We ended up the day with some shopping! The M&ms store was a must!

As an eternal big child, I had to visit Hamleys Toy Shop!

Piccadilly Circus by night. So beautiful but also so crowded!

Big cities are always more beautiful at night...

This was our room during our stay in London. I can't remember the name but it was next to the London Bridge!

I became totally addicted to the local breakfast! I am missing it everyday. I'm not a big fan of croissants (french breakfast)...

Thank you London for all these memories! I can't wait to come back!

Morocco

 Hey bloggies!

I'm back from Morocco (Marrakech). It was so nice to spend time abroad, I really needed it! It was so hot, around 42°C every day (France around 15°C xD such a bad summer). I already went 3 times to Morocco and I visited a lot of places but this time, we stayed in Marrakech. Have you ever been there? This country is so beautiful!

But the first day was horrible... The first point of course... I hate catching planes, I think it's very scary... for "only" 3 hours but it was enough! And then, bad surprise, no suitcase at the airport. We were wearing coats and pants because the weater was very bad in France, but as I said, Morocco was very hot! We couldn't use the pool, we couldn't go in our rooms (not available before 5 o' clock) and we didn't know where were our suitcases...

Finally, we get our suitcases on the next day! The airplane company forgot them in Paris airport... We were so relieved! Can you imagine? No clothes, no toothbrush x__x. We were so tired that we spent our first real day of holiday sleeping next to the pool.

On était tellement soulagé!

Every evening we went to Jamaa El Fna place to eat a delicious couscous *_* and biscuits/cakes. Moroccan food is amazing! I also ate Moroccan crepes for breakfast, I wish I was able to cook that... At the evening this place is full of little restaurants (around 70). I recommand you the number 15, these people are amazing and the couscous was very good! Don't forget to try their mint tea, the only one I can drink.

You can also do fake tatoos with "Henné", drink a fresh orange juice, see a lot of snakes, monkeys and also the famous "souk" to buy every kinds of souvenirs!

I said : I love Paris!

Wow WTF, me saying I love Paris?!

It's been already around 3 weeks (just received Ray's pictures, I didn't have my camera that day xD), I walked in Paris with my friend Ray. We went to Les Champs Elysées and we stoped us in a park to talk about various things. When we decided to go back to home, it was sunset, and everything was so pink! So beautiful! I said : Je vois la vie en rose! lol but seriously, Paris showed me an other face, I was just like a tourist, and thought from the bottom of my heart that Paris was wonderful.

Oh yeah there were french and chinese's flags because China's President came in Paris that week. So Champs Elysées were totally decorated for him. As he was around... for safety subway was closed u__u, we had to walk until "Les Invalides" very beautiful place too.
